Movies of the Year

I match a lot of movies throughout the year. A lot! And since it’s the weekend of the year we celebrate movies, I’m chiming in with my favorites from the year that was.

I will say that there was a lot of grumbling about movies not being very good this past year. I find that take quite strange. I actually think 2024 was the strongest year of movies I’ve seen in several years.

Now, many of the “Oscar movies” aren’t very good, but that’s just me…
