Live Music Continues
It was so great to see Fleet Foxes last weekend at The Caverns (in the amphitheater). It was my first time at the venue, and I sincerely hope it’s not my last. The energy was really great. It was raining, a little windy, and, really, just very cathartic. The crickets and frogs were singing in the back. There was a part of the set, which, by the way, was just about perfect, in which it was just Robin onstage with his guitar, and it was most majestic then, with the outside world merging with the music. It was one of my favorite shows I’ve been to, and I’ve been to a lot.
Speaking of live shows, I have four more coming in the next couple of months. One of them is seeing Jason Isbell at the Ryman during his 2022 residency. I’m very, very, very excited for that one. VERY excited.
Few things compare to live music, in my mind, so it’s great to be back surrounded by it.
