It's Indie Bookstore Day

For all my book lovers out there, don’t forget it’s officially Independent Bookstore Day. If you’ve been wanting to order something to read but haven’t, today’s the day to finally give in and treat your self. (And your shelf, am I right?)

Seriously, indie bookstores are the backbones of the literary world. These little havens of knowledge and stories support authors and readers alike. They host events throughout the year. They encourage and promote community involvement. They are vital to so many neighborhoods.

Due to Covid, I will be celebrating and ordering from home for the first time in a good while, but if you are able to get out, there are lots of cool items available for today only.

Shout out to the indie bookstores I support throughout the year. Parnassus Books, Square Books, Lemuria, and Greenlight are some of my favorites, and I appreciate all they do!
