ShoalsFest 2022

I hit up ShoalsFest 2022 over the weekend with my brother, and it was a good time. Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats were fantastic on the first night, with Brittney Spencer also having a strong set as the sun was going down.

On night two, Amanda Shires, John Moreland, and, of course, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit were each remarkable. Isbell is an all-time favorite artist for me, so it’s special to get to hear him. Luckily for me, I’ll see him very soon again during his Ryman Residency.

It was crisp and cool on both nights, and there was something comforting about the river being there. As I’ve said before in a previous post, few things are as good as music being experienced under the stars. And, hey, I got a signed poster, too, which was pretty sweet.
