Silas House is, in my mind, one of the country’s most under-appreciated writers. His novels are fantastic, and his essays are just as good. His latest non-fiction piece, which appears at The Atlantic, is a really thoughtful essay about masking up. It’s about how we humans need to be more decent to one another—how we need to love and respect and care for those around us. Writing like this should be read far and wide…
